    The pilot is open to companies involved in the import, distribution, processing or export of timber from the six participating Central African countries: Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of the Congo.
    No. Your company does not need to specialize in African hardwood, but it must handle some timber from the participating Central African countries during the current pilot.
    Applicants must confirm their participation in writing, handle timber from the specified Central African countries, have or be willing to develop supply chain due diligence capabilities, and maintain a good compliance record.
    Participating companies will receive capacity-building training, one-to-one technical guidance, standardized tools and technical support covering standard interpretation, system development, internal review and preparation for third-party certification.
    The pilot process includes confirming participation, capacity building, supply chain coordination, feasibility verification audits, results analysis and knowledge sharing, standard refinement and promotion, and pilot recognition.
    Yes. All pilot participants are required to sign a confidentiality agreement and maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information learned or exchanged during the cooperation.
