Complaints & Appeals

Raising concerns and supporting continuous improvement

An open and transparent approach to complaints and appeals is important to the credibility and integrity of the certification system.

CTWPDA welcomes concerns, complaints and appeals from stakeholders relating to the development, implementation and administration of the system. We see feedback not only as a way to address specific concerns, but also as an opportunity to identify areas for improvement and strengthen the system over time.

Our commitment

CTWPDA is committed to handling complaints and appeals in a fair, objective and transparent manner.
Where appropriate, we encourage concerns to be resolved through constructive dialogue between the parties involved. When this is not possible, or when a formal review is required, stakeholders may raise the matter directly with CTWPDA.
Information submitted will be reviewed carefully and handled in accordance with the applicable procedures and requirements of the system.

Purpose of the complaints and appeals process

The complaints and appeals process provides stakeholders with a way to:
  • raise concerns about the implementation or administration of the system;
  • report potential non-conformities with applicable standards or requirements;
  • request a review of a decision where an appeal is appropriate; and
  • contribute to corrective actions and the continuous improvement of the system.
As the certification system develops, more detailed procedures and guidance for submitting and handling complaints and appeals will be made available on this website.
