On May 27, the 2026 Home Furnishings and Building Materials Industry Foreign Trade Forum, hosted by the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association (CTWPDA) and co-organized by DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR, the Shanghai Timber Trade Association, and the Shandong Timber & Wood Products Association, was successfully held in Shanghai.

Focusing on topics including global market trends, foreign trade data, international expansion practices, and channel innovation, the forum brought together nearly 100 industry experts and business representatives.
Li Jiafeng, President of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association, noted that under China’s “dual circulation” development framework, the industry is facing multiple challenges, including the restructuring of global trade patterns and evolving consumer demand. Enterprises need to accelerate transformation and identify new sources of growth. He stated that the Association will continue to serve as a bridge between the industry and the market, providing companies expanding overseas with greater access to information, resources, and services to support their development in international markets.
